16-Species Mona Mosaic

Large Format piece that is made from 100% Zero-Waste wood - off-cuts from 16 species of wood destined for the landfill.  It's made up of over 1,400 individual pieces that were hand dyed and/or clear coated using water-based coatings - then assembled by hand and mounted in a custom, shadow box frame.  Note that only OSB (Oriented Strand Board) pieces that are visually colored are dyed, all 16 of the natural wood species are only clear-coated and rely on their natural tones to make up the image.
