I’m Steve Chalson, a dedicated Zero-Waste Artist | Designer | Woodworker.

After spending a career designing for many of the world’s largest brands, I’m now creating one-of-a-kind artwork and furniture in my Sachse, Texas studio.  For my artwork I follow the standard, “Zero-Waste” principles and use mostly scrap hardwood and other items that typically would be headed for a landfill.  I see things in wood off-cuts, discarded skateboards, fallen trees and broken tiles – combine them and bring to life inventive pieces – often infused with my love of mid-century modern style, design, color, and architecture.
