Tulips in a Vase

One-of-a-kind art piece created using 6 recycled skateboards and other Zero-Waste elements.  See size on image.  Did you know that the top of the board is pristine and usually an amazing color?  Once the grip tape (and gunk) is removed I celebrate these original colors as the petals and leaves of the flowers.  No dyes or stains have been used to achieve these colors - they're how the boards came to me and after a bit of tidying-up.  Frame is a custom made shadow box made from white painted pine.
