This piece is authentic Zero-Waste Art made from skateboards and wood off-cuts.
The butterfly wings are cut from repurposed (used) skateboards, each one uses a different deck, their bodies are ebony-dyed poplar with map pins as antennae - the floating circles frame is a solid, 1/4" American Cherry foo-cut (scrap) and they all float off a clear-coated piece of Baltic Birch..
